Yemen's Houthis Target US Destroyer, Supply Ships with 16 Missiles in Support of Gaza
Dec 1, 2024, 02:33 PM
The Houthi rebels in Yemen, led by Supreme Leader Abdulmalik al Houthi, have vowed to escalate their military operations in support of the Gaza Strip. The group's military spokesman announced plans to double their missile and drone attacks, targeting not only Israel but also American naval assets in the region. The Houthis have launched a ballistic missile from Yemen and claim to have targeted a US destroyer and three supply ships with 16 ballistic and winged missiles, as well as a drone, in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden. These actions are intended to continue until Israeli aggression on Gaza ceases and the siege is lifted.
