Trump Terminates Fauci's $15 Million Security Detail Alongside Bolton and Pompeo

Trump added, 'You can't have a security detail for the rest of your life because you work for government.' Dr. Fauci had been receiving threats since the COVID-19 pandemic began, leading to the provision of a government-funded security detail. The termination of the security details for Fauci, Bolton, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo comes as part of the administration's reassessment of ongoing security arrangements for former officials.
