President Donald Trump announced that his administration is considering imposing a 10% tariff on Chinese imports starting as soon as February 1, citing China's role in the flow of fentanyl to Mexico and Canada. "We're talking about a tariff of 10% on China based on the fact that they're sending fentanyl to Mexico and Canada," Trump said. He added, "Probably February 1 is the date we're looking at."
