U.S. Sanctions Four Pakistani Entities, Including NDC, Over Shaheen-Series Missiles

Deputy National Security Adviser Jon Finer stated that nuclear-armed Pakistan is developing long-range ballistic missiles that could potentially strike targets beyond South Asia, including the United States, raising serious questions about its intentions. Pakistan's government condemned the sanctions as "biased" and reflecting "double standards and discriminatory practices," warning of "dangerous implications" for regional stability.
