Mysterious Nighttime Drones Since November Over New Jersey and New York Raise Concerns

Since November, residents and officials in New Jersey and New York have reported mysterious drones flying over their states, with up to 180 sightings per night. The drones, flying at night and avoiding detection by traditional methods such as helicopter and radio, have been sighted near sensitive locations like military bases and research facilities. Some witnesses describe them as large as a school bus or larger than a two-car garage, and they display flashing lights meant to attract attention. Congressman Jeff Van Drew suggested the drones might be linked to foreign adversaries like Iran or China, possibly launched from a 'mothership' offshore, though the Pentagon, through spokesperson Sabrina Singh, denied any foreign involvement and stated that the drones are under local law enforcement investigation. Governor Phil Murphy has urged residents not to worry but has acknowledged the lack of clear answers. A Facebook group aimed at identifying the drones has grown to over 30,000 users. Homeland Security and the FBI are involved in the investigation, but no definitive explanations have been provided, and no reliable photos or videos have surfaced.
