Dec 12, 2024, 09:54 AM
Overnight, Ukrainian drones targeted two locations in Russia, striking the 2nd Regiment building of the Chechen Interior Ministry in Grozny, Chechnya, and causing explosions in the Kursk region. Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov confirmed the drone strikes on Chechen special forces, with at least four operatives injured, according to local reports. The attack on the Grozny Ministry of Internal Affairs special ops building required at least five ambulances. Kadyrov stated that the remnants of an intercepted drone caused a 'small fire' in the building. This is the second attack on the same site in Chechnya this month, highlighting the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. In response to the attack, Kadyrov announced that 84,000 volunteers are ready to go to the frontline if ordered.
