NYPD Fatally Shoots Armed Man in Brooklyn Altercation

In the early hours of May 12th, NYPD officers fatally shot a man in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, after he reportedly pointed a gun at them during an altercation with several others. The incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. at the intersection of Church Avenue and E 52nd Street. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
