Labour Party Drops Legal Claims Against Five Former Staffers Over Antisemitism Report Leak
Jun 6, 2024, 06:36 AM
The Labour Party has decided to discontinue its legal claims against five former staffers accused of leaking a controversial document. The document allegedly exposed racist messages, factional hostility towards the previous leadership, and antisemitism. The individuals involved are Karie Murphy, Seumas Milne, Georgie Robertson, Harry Hayball, and Laura Murray. The legal pursuit, which had cost the party almost £1.4 million by October, will be dropped on a 'no order as to costs' basis. The five former staffers have welcomed the resolution of the claims.
