Hezbollah Launches 45 Rocket Attacks on Northern Israel, Drone Intercepted, IDF Responds

Hezbollah has launched a series of rocket attacks on northern Israel, with sirens warning of continuing assaults. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that approximately 65 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory throughout the day, some of which were intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array, while others fell in open areas. The IDF responded with artillery strikes on the sources of the launches. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating that dozens of rockets were fired at the community of Dafna in response to an earlier IDF strike in southern Lebanon, which reportedly wounded individuals. In a recent escalation, over 45 rockets were fired by Hezbollah into northern Israel within an hour, with the first barrage targeting the northern Golan Heights. Additionally, a drone from Lebanon was intercepted.
