IDF Destroys Hezbollah's Underground Command Center, Strikes 490 Targets in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted extensive operations against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon over the past few days. The IDF destroyed Hezbollah's central underground command center and several key tunnels, including those belonging to Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force. Ground troops from the 188th Brigade, the 98th Division, and the 'HaZaken' 8th Brigade Combat Team, alongside the Yahalom Unit, carried out targeted raids, demolishing over 50 tunnel shafts and underground terrorist infrastructure, some located beneath mosques, schools, and other civilian buildings. More than 100 tons of explosives were used to destroy four significant tunnels. The operations also resulted in the elimination of numerous Hezbollah militants and the seizure of weapons, including rocket launchers, a 'Kornet' anti-tank missile, and observation equipment monitoring Israeli towns in the Galilee Panhandle. The IDF's air force continued to strike over 490 Hezbollah targets, such as weapons depots, rocket launchers, tunnel networks, and military buildings, as part of an ongoing campaign to degrade Hezbollah's capabilities and leadership.
