BlackRock Launches IBIT Spot Bitcoin ETF on Cboe Canada

BlackRock Inc., the world's largest asset manager with $11.5 trillion in assets under management, has launched a new spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) on Cboe Canada's exchange under the ticker symbol IBIT. The iShares Bitcoin ETF provides investors exposure to Bitcoin through their brokerage accounts. The fund aims to mirror Bitcoin's performance by holding assets in its U.S. counterpart.
