At the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, Smart was recognized for her portrayal of the veteran stand-up comedian navigating the changing landscape of the entertainment industry. In her acceptance speech, she quipped, 'I never thought I'd be so happy to be called a hack,' and added, 'We are in the middle of season four and we're still having a blast, thank you very much for this award.'
