During her acceptance speech at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Smart humorously remarked, 'I never thought I’d be so happy to be called a hack.' She expressed gratitude towards the show's producers, the cast, and specifically mentioned her co-star Hannah Einbinder, stating, 'Without Ava, there would be no Deborah.'
