Alcon Entertainment Sues Tesla, Elon Musk, and Warner Bros. for Copyright Infringement Over AI Images
Oct 21, 2024, 05:15 PM
Alcon Entertainment, the producer behind 'Blade Runner 2049,' has filed a lawsuit against Tesla, Elon Musk, and Warner Bros. Discovery. The lawsuit, filed on Monday, alleges that Tesla and Musk used AI-generated images based on scenes from 'Blade Runner 2049' without authorization to promote Tesla's new autonomous vehicle, the Cybercab. Warner Bros. Discovery is also named in the lawsuit for facilitating the partnership that led to the alleged copyright infringement. The imagery was allegedly used to promote Tesla's new 'robotaxi.'
