Nigel Farage of Reform UK Attacked in Barnsley, Second Incident in a Week
Jun 11, 2024, 11:05 AM
Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, faced a series of attacks during his campaign visit to Barnsley. Counter-protesters interrupted his visit, chanting 'Fascists out out out!' and hurling objects at him. Farage was forced to duck for cover as rocks were thrown at him, narrowly missing him. South Yorkshire Police intervened, arresting one man involved in the attack. Farage expressed his gratitude to the police and stated that he would not be intimidated by what he described as a violent left-wing mob. This incident marks the second attack on Farage in the past week.
