A 33-year-old mother, identified as Chianti Means, and her two children—a 9-year-old son, Roman Rossman, and a 5-month-old infant, Mecca Means—died after going over Niagara Falls at approximately 9 p.m. on Monday night. According to New York State Police, the woman intentionally climbed over the safety guard rail on Luna Island in Niagara Falls State Park with her children and went over the falls. Search and rescue efforts were unsuccessful, and the incident is under investigation.
