Despite the liberation, searches for secret underground cells by the White Helmets rescuers yielded no results. The body of prominent Syrian activist Mazen al-Hamada, who had been missing for a long time, was discovered in this torture center. Families of those who disappeared under the Assad regime continue to wait near the prison, hoping to find their missing relatives.
