VisitElon Musk's X Uses User Data to Train Grok AI by Default, Disable via Web
Jul 26, 2024, 03:35 PM
Elon Musk's social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), has introduced a new data-sharing feature that uses user posts, interactions, and data to train its AI tool, Grok. This setting is enabled by default for all users, raising privacy concerns and potential GDPR violations. Users can disable this feature, but only through the web version of X by navigating to Settings > Privacy and Safety > Grok and unchecking the data-sharing option. Musk described Grok, developed by xAI, as 'the most powerful AI by every metric.'
