Waymo, the Alphabet-owned self-driving car company, has announced a significant expansion of its robotaxi service areas in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In San Francisco, Waymo's service now includes Daly City, Broadmoor, and Colma, covering a total of 55 square miles. Additionally, the service has been extended to a 10-square-mile portion of the Peninsula. In Los Angeles, the expansion includes Playa Vista, Westwood, Chinatown, and Hollywood.
