May 20, 2024, 03:22 AM
A tragic accident occurred in Pune's Kalyani Nagar area, where a speeding Porsche Taycan, driven by 17-year-old Vedant Agarwal, hit a bike from behind, killing two 24-year-old IT engineers from Madhya Pradesh. The incident happened last night, and the accused has been arrested. Vedant Agarwal, the son of Vishal Agarwal, owner of Bramha Realty, was driving at 150 km/h in an unregistered car without a license plate. The minor driver was granted bail within 15 hours of the incident. An FIR has been registered, and further investigation is underway, according to DCP Vijay Kumar Magar. The court has instructed the minor to write an essay on the mishap. Residents of Kalyani Nagar have attributed the accident to the extended hours of local pubs. Vedant Agarwal's father has also been booked in connection with the case.
