Ukraine Plans Evacuation Corridors, Buffer Zone in Kursk

Ukraine is planning to establish evacuation corridors and humanitarian operations in Russia's Kursk region, according to Ukraine's Minister of Reintegration, Vereshchuk. The corridors will facilitate the evacuation of civilians both towards Russia and Ukraine. Additionally, Ukrainian officials have announced the creation of a 'buffer zone' in the Kursk region, aimed at limiting Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the military incursion into the Kursk region is intended to create this buffer zone, marking the first time he has explicitly stated the operation's purpose.
