Turkey's National Defense Ministry announced that it neutralized 49 terrorists in operations conducted over the past week in northern Syria and Iraq. The operations included the Pençe-Kilit region in northern Iraq, where four PKK terrorists were neutralized, and the Barış Pınarı and Münbiç regions in northern Syria, where five PKK/YPG terrorists were neutralized. Additionally, the ministry reported that a total of 3,070 terrorists were neutralized in Syria and Iraq throughout 2024, with 1,579 in northern Syria and 1,491 in northern Iraq. The ministry also noted that 107 terrorists surrendered during the year.
