Militants Attack Pakistani Military Outpost, 8 Soldiers Killed

Militants attacked a Pakistani military outpost in northwestern Pakistan, resulting in multiple casualties. At least 4 soldiers were reported dead and 50 more injured after an explosion and gunfire at a military barracks in the Paroa tehsil. The Pakistani Taliban (TTP) militants targeted the camp in DI Khan early morning, torching military vehicles and managing to escape. Unofficial reports indicate that 3 militants and 2 soldiers were killed, with at least 6 others injured in the attack. The Pakistani army later confirmed that 8 soldiers were killed in the armed attack.
