An American activist of Turkish descent, Esnor Ezki, 26, was shot in the head and killed by Israeli forces during a nonviolent protest in Beita, near Mount Sbeih, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank. The incident occurred during a weekly anti-settlement march. Reports indicate that Ezki, also referred to as Aaliyah, was participating in the protest when Israeli troops opened fire, leading to her fatal injury.
