The arrest is part of a broader crackdown on looting, with a total of 29 individuals arrested in connection with criminal activities around the wildfires. The incidents have prompted authorities to implement a curfew from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. in the affected areas to prevent further looting and ensure the safety of evacuated properties, with over 100,000 people currently evacuated.
