34-Year-Old Israeli Officer Yotam Itzhak Peled Killed by Roadside Bomb in Gaza

Major (res.) Yotam Itzhak Peled, a 34-year-old reservist officer with the 8119th Infantry Battalion of the 16th "Jerusalem" Brigade, was killed in battle in central Gaza. The Israeli Defense Forces confirmed his death, stating that he was killed by a roadside bomb set along the Netzarim Corridor. Peled served as a logistics officer, and his death marks a significant loss for the battalion. He died in an explosive device explosion.
