Turkey Begins Construction of National Submarine, TF-2000 Destroyer, and Aircraft Carrier

Turkey has officially commenced construction on three major naval projects: the National Submarine (MİLDEN), the TF-2000 Air Defence Warfare Destroyer, and the National Aircraft Carrier (MUGEM). The first welding for the MİLDEN submarine took place at Gölcük Shipyard Command, while the initial sheet metal cuts for the TF-2000 destroyer and the MUGEM aircraft carrier were made at Istanbul Shipyard Command. These developments were announced by the Turkish Ministry of Defense during a weekly press briefing. The projects aim to enhance the capabilities of Turkey's navy, which is currently constructing 31 ships simultaneously across various shipyards.
