The United States has decided to permanently dismantle the floating Gaza pier, which was constructed to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. The project, initiated under President Biden, cost an estimated $320 million and faced numerous challenges, including weather and security problems. The Pentagon confirmed that the mission is complete and that aid operations will transition to the Ashdod port in Israel. Pentagon press secretary Maj. Gen.
