Following Durov's arrest, Telegram has updated its privacy policy to comply with international legal requirements and has started cooperating with French intelligence services. This cooperation, reported by Liberation, has led to requests from other countries, including an EU country that received information about a Telegram group used to order about a hundred murders. Durov stated that these measures should deter criminals and help identify those violating Telegram's rules.
