Sean Higgins Denied Bail in Drunken Driving Deaths of Gaudreau Brothers

Sean Higgins, the man charged with killing NHL star Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew in a drunken driving crash, will remain in jail as ordered by a New Jersey judge on Friday morning. Higgins faces two counts of vehicular homicide and could receive up to 10 years for each count. The incident occurred in Salem County, New Jersey, where Higgins admitted to having five or six beers on the day of the crash. His blood-alcohol level was recorded at .087, above the legal limit. The next court hearing is scheduled for October.
