Jan 16, 2025, 03:37 AM
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times by an intruder at his Mumbai residence in the early hours of Thursday. The attacker entered Khan's Bandra home 'Satguru Sharan' around 2 am during an attempted robbery, leading to a scuffle during which the intruder stabbed him with a knife. Khan sustained six stab wounds, including injuries to his neck, chest, and hand, with two deep wounds—one near his spine. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital at 3:30 am, where he underwent surgery that lasted about two and a half hours, according to Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Chief Operating Officer of the hospital. His wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their children were unharmed. One of Khan's domestic staff also sustained minor injuries. The intruder fled after the attack. Mumbai Police Crime Branch officials and a forensic team are investigating the incident, reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
