Sep 28, 2024, 11:10 AM
The Russian Alabuga plant has significantly increased its production capacity for Shahed-131/136 drones, surpassing its initial targets. According to the Institute for Science and International Security, the plant was scheduled to supply 6,000 Shahed drones by September 2025 but achieved this target by August 2024. As of late April 2024, approximately 4,500 drones had already been supplied, with over 6,000 delivered by the end of August 2024. This accelerated production highlights the growing military manufacturing capabilities in Russia.
