Russia has equipped Shahed-136 kamikaze drones with Starlink terminals from SpaceX, allowing for unlimited communication range up to 2,000 km. This development, reported by Defense Express, marks the first time such technology has been used on these drones. The Ukrainian Armed Forces recently shot down one of these drones, identified as a Geranium UAV, during a night attack. The integration of Starlink could enable the transmission of intelligence information and provide a stable satellite communication channel for transmitting photos, videos, and telemetry data.
