North Korea Declares 'Strongest' Strategy Against U.S. at Key Party Meeting Led by Kim Jong Un
Dec 28, 2024, 10:30 PM
North Korea has declared a 'strongest' response strategy toward the United States during a key ruling party meeting held from December 23 to 27, as reported by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). The meeting, convened ahead of the new year, was presided over by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. The strategy was announced in response to the perceived expansion of military cooperation among South Korea, the U.S., and Japan into what North Korea described as a 'nuclear military bloc'. Kim Jong Un accused the U.S. of adhering to anti-communism as its national policy and labeled South Korea as an 'anti-communism outpost' for the U.S. Additionally, during the meeting, Pak Thae-song was appointed as the new premier, replacing Kim Tok-hun.
