Senators are expected to question Bondi on her extensive legal, political, and lobbying background, as well as her loyalty to Trump, given her previous role representing him during his first impeachment. Democrats are anticipated to grill her over the president-elect's comments about using the Justice Department against political opponents. More than 100 former Justice Department officials have urged the Senate to confirm Bondi as Attorney General.
