OP Labs Proposes Upgrade After Optimism Fault Proof System Vulnerabilities Found

As a result, the Layer 2 (L2) network has been returned to a permissioned state. In response to these findings, OP Labs has proposed an upgrade to address the issues. The decision follows community-driven audits that revealed bugs in the fault proof system, prompting the need for a solution to enhance the network's security and reliability.
