The funding round was backed by leading investors including a16z crypto, CSX, Coinbase Ventures, SV Angel, Balaji Srinivasan, Ilya Polosukhin, and Sandeep Nailwal. OpenGradient aims to accelerate the development of open-source AI for Web3 by providing native on-chain inference support for decentralized applications and decentralizing AI infrastructure.
