Sep 18, 2024, 04:17 PM
T-Mobile has announced a multi-year partnership with OpenAI to develop IntentCX, an innovative intent-driven AI decision-making platform aimed at revolutionizing customer experience. The platform, set to launch in 2025, will use real-time data to understand customer intent and sentiment, offering personalized service and proactive engagement. Additionally, T-Mobile has formed a technology partnership with NVIDIA, Ericsson, and Nokia to advance the future of mobile networking with AI at the center. This collaboration includes the development of AI-RAN, an AI-powered radio access network, which will transform telecommunications networks into AI computing infrastructure. The AI-RAN Innovation Center will explore how GPUs and AI can boost efficiencies in 5G and eventually 6G. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman discussed the new IntentCX platform at T-Mobile's Capital Markets Day.
