Russian $15 Million Okhotnik Drone Shot Down by Su-57 Fighter Near Chasiv Yar
Oct 5, 2024, 10:33 AM
Russian military sources report that a Sukhoi S-70 Okhotnik-B unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV), also known as the "Hunter," was shot down during a test flight near Chasiv Yar. Conflicting reports suggest that the UCAV was destroyed by a Russian Su-57 fighter jet with an air-to-air missile, possibly due to loss of control over the drone. Russian media propose that it was destroyed by friendly fire while carrying out a reconnaissance flight. The Okhotnik is a heavy UAV valued at approximately $15 million.
