Nvidia Partners with India, Reliance, and Infosys to Develop AI Chips and Launch Hindi-Language AI Model

Nvidia has announced a strategic partnership with India to jointly develop AI chips, marking a significant step in the country's AI infrastructure growth. This collaboration was highlighted during the Nvidia AI Summit 2024 in Mumbai, where Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani discussed the pivotal role of AI in reshaping industries. Nvidia also launched a Hindi-language AI model, aiming to enhance technology accessibility for millions of Hindi speakers. Huang emphasized India's progress in AI, noting the training of over 100,000 AI developers and partnerships with major Indian corporations like Reliance, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Flipkart. The partnership aims to make AI affordable and available to the common people, replicating the success of Jio in making data accessible. Nvidia will also support AI development in India's healthcare industries.
