Nvidia Unveils Project Digits: $3,000 Personal AI Supercomputer with GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip for 200 Billion Parameters

At CES 2025, Nvidia Corp. unveiled Project Digits, a personal AI supercomputer aimed at AI researchers, data scientists, and students. The device, powered by the new Nvidia GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, offers up to a petaflop of computing performance and is designed to run AI models with up to 200 billion parameters. Project Digits is compact enough to fit on a desk and will be available starting in May for $3,000. The supercomputer features 128GB of memory and up to 4TB of storage, and two units can be linked to handle models up to 405 billion parameters. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the device's role in making AI development accessible to millions of developers, enabling them to prototype, fine-tune, and deploy AI models from their desktops to cloud or data center infrastructure using the Linux-based NVIDIA DGX OS. Project Digits users will have access to an extensive library of Nvidia AI software, including the NVIDIA NGC catalog and the NVIDIA Developer portal, with tools like the NVIDIA NeMo framework, NVIDIA RAPIDS libraries, and support for common frameworks such as PyTorch, Python, and Jupyter notebooks. Additionally, users can leverage NVIDIA Blueprints and NVIDIA NIM microservices for building agentic AI applications, all supported by the NVIDIA AI Enterprise license for enterprise-grade security and support.
