At least 18 people were killed and 42 injured in a series of suicide bombings in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state on Saturday. The attacks, reportedly carried out by suspected female suicide bombers, targeted a wedding in Gwoza, a funeral, and a hospital. Among the deceased was a Nigerian Army personnel. One of the attackers was reported to be carrying a baby on her back. The local state emergency management agency confirmed the casualties, and the Nigerian Police reported that 15 people were injured. The attacks have been attributed to Boko Haram.
