Morgan Wallen Sentenced to 7 Days at DUI Center, 2 Years Probation for Throwing Chair from Eric Church's Bar
Dec 12, 2024, 09:18 PM
Country music star Morgan Wallen has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment in a Nashville courtroom, following an incident in April where he threw a chair off the roof of Eric Church’s bar, Chief’s, in downtown Nashville. The chair narrowly missed two police officers on the street below. Wallen was sentenced to serve seven days at a DUI education center and two years of probation. He was also ordered to pay a $350 fine and court fees. The plea deal allows for the charges to be eligible for dismissal and expungement upon successful completion of his probation. Wallen has expressed regret for his actions and has cooperated with authorities, apologizing directly to those involved. His attorney, Worrick Robinson IV, stated that Wallen remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation.
