Oct 31, 2024, 10:37 PM
Atlanta rapper Young Thug has pleaded guilty to gang, drug, and gun charges in the long-running RICO trial against him and the alleged YSL street gang. He entered a non-negotiated plea, pleading guilty to multiple charges and no contest to the RICO charge. He was sentenced to 40 years, with the first five years commuted to time served, followed by 15 years probation. An additional 20 years are backloaded and will be served if he violates probation. Young Thug, whose trial was the longest in Georgia's history, is set to be released from jail.
