Mirra Andreeva, a 17-year-old Russian tennis player, has advanced to her first Grand Slam semi-final at the French Open. Andreeva defeated World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka in a thrilling quarter-final match, winning 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-4. Andreeva lost the first set in a tiebreaker but came back to win the next two sets 6-4, 6-4. This victory makes Andreeva the youngest Grand Slam semi-finalist since Martina Hingis in 1997.
