Michael Gove Appointed New Editor of The Spectator Starting October 8 After £100 Million Deal

Michael Gove, former Conservative minister, has been appointed as the new editor of The Spectator magazine. He will take over from Fraser Nelson, who has served as editor for 15 years and will continue to write for the publication. The appointment follows the magazine's takeover by GB News co-owner Sir Paul Marshall, who completed a £100 million deal. Gove will officially begin his role on October 8, three months after stepping down as an MP. Additionally, Charles Moore will be the next chairman of The Spectator.
