Meta has announced significant upgrades to its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, integrating advanced AI features. The new functionalities include real-time language translation, memory assistance, QR code scanning, and voice-controlled Spotify. Users will also benefit from real-time AI video processing, allowing them to ask questions about what the glasses can see. Additionally, the glasses will feature visual reminders, timers, and the ability to scan and act on real-world text. These updates were unveiled during the Meta Connect event, with CEO Mark Zuckerberg showcasing the new capabilities through a live Spanish-English demo involving UFC fighter Brandon Moreno.
