Meta Updates Ray-Ban Smart Glasses with AI Video, Translation, QR Code Scanning, and Audible Integration

Meta has announced significant updates to its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses during the Meta Connect 2024 event. The glasses will now feature real-time AI video processing, live language translation, QR code scanning, and a 'Reminders' feature. Additionally, the glasses will support voice-controlled Spotify, Audible integration, and come with new limited edition Shiny Transparent Wayfarer frames and more Transitions® lenses. These updates aim to enhance productivity and connectivity by allowing users to engage in natural conversations with AI without repeatedly saying 'Hey Meta'. Users will also be able to stream video into Meta AI models. The new features are expected to be rolled out later this year.
