VisitLula's CT Scan Indicates ‘Progressive Improvement’ After Brain Surgery
Dec 31, 2024, 03:02 PM
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva underwent a new CT scan at the Sírio-Libanês Hospital in Brasília on December 31, which showed significant improvement following his surgeries earlier this month. The medical bulletin stated that the tomography revealed “important reabsorption of the subdural collection,” indicating “progressive improvement” consistent with the President's excellent state of health. Lula had previously suffered a fall on October 19 that resulted in a brain hemorrhage, leading to emergency surgery. Medical teams report that he will continue to be monitored and is expected to undergo another CT scan in two to three weeks to track his ongoing recovery.
