Lucy Letby Questioned in Prison Over Baby Deaths and Collapses at Two Hospitals

Lucy Letby, a former British nurse serving a whole life sentence for the murder of seven babies and the attempted murder of six others at the Countess of Chester Hospital, has been interviewed by Cheshire Police in prison. The questioning is part of an ongoing investigation into additional baby deaths and non-fatal collapses at two hospitals where she worked, including the Countess of Chester Hospital and Liverpool Women’s Hospital. Police confirmed the interviews were conducted under caution, and the investigation remains active. Letby, already convicted as the most prolific child serial killer in modern British history, has raised further concerns about her potential involvement in other cases. Meanwhile, her barrister stated that more than 50 experts stand ready to defend her.
